2012 FASD Day in SLO County – Press Release (pdf)

Join us in raising awareness of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders by recognizing International FASD Day (9/9)! Activities will be happening in San Luis Obispo and at the Cuesta College campus September 5th-7th.

Events:

• White flag display* at the SLO Courthouse on Monterey St from September 4-7
• White flag display* at the Library Lawn on the Cuesta College Campus (SLO) 9/6 & 9/7
• Fun & educational ‘photo booth’ set-up at the Cuesta Campus (SLO) on 9/5 and 9/6 from 10am-2pm.
• Board of Supervisors Proclamation of FASD Awareness Day at their August 28th meeting

*Each white flag represents a baby born exposed to alcohol during pregnancy in our county since tracking began in 2004.
