FASD clients, students and children: What you need to know
It is estimated that 2-5% of the general population is living with a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. Because of the difficulty people with FASD face, that percentage is often much higher among people involved with social services, probation or behavioral health. This series of packets was developed by Kathryn Page, PhD and presented in San Luis Obispo on Sept 9-10, 2010. They are informational tools for tailoring our approaches when working with clients who may have brain damage due to prenatal alcohol exposure. Please download them and give them to anyone who you know that might benefit from the information.
